Katsu fresh and thick breading and solid sauce, substituted fried rice and it was great and loaded with veggies not bland like some places substitute version.

This place deserves a better rating. I’ve been coming for probably 10 years now. They’re a neighborhood mainstay. The food has always been solid and their salad is my fave - A crunchy shredded pickled cabbage situation. I didn’t come in for a few years but the woman (owner?) still remembered me. That’s what community is! Gentle reminder to everyone who complains it wasn’t exactly the way you expected: different restaurants can make the same food in different ways! Just because it’s not in line with your preferences doesn’t mean it’s cool to disrespect hardworking people. Be nice (and pay for extra sauce if you want extra sauce)

Took this order to-go. I have been in search of a new teriyaki option in the neighborhood & I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. This was my first time, so I can't speak for the consistency, but I will definitely be coming back to get the dine-in experience. Pro-tip: Order the saute so that you get grilled veggies rather than the salad, which doesn't have much nutritional value or the taste that the grilled option gives you. Not bad at all at coming in at just below the $16 price point. Midas 5-stars for the juicy chicken in the saute, the good balance in sauce, good portions (2-scoops of rice, & not burning my food.

The stir fry is better than Yoshino. Highly recommend. Like most teriyaki places I've been to, the dining area is a no frills hole in the wall. But you're not here for the atmosphere, you're here for the food! And the food is very good.

The lady at the cash register (note to self I need to introduce myself)- anyways she is so lovely. I get food here probably once or twice a month. It is typical teriyaki I guess (very tasty) but the price is very reasonable, the portions are real decent (I can eat a lot!) and the cashiers are very lovely. I would recommend.

The chicken teriyaki and kalbi combo was delicious! Got lots of meat and rice relative to the price. The lady that took our order was also very sweet and gave out free candy

Me and my dad came in from Las Vegas to watch my niners obliterate the seahawks bang bang. But the food was great and the lady Joy was such a sweetheart and so good constantly offering us more stuff and being welcoming. Best server and shoutout to the single chef throwing it done on the back the teriyaki beef 10/10

Teriyaki is ok but the fried chicken is the best. It's ok. I've had better teriyaki. This chicken teriyaki is dry. I do like their chicken wings so much better. I don't go here often anymore because I found Toshio's to be way better.

This is the best teriyaki on the hill! The service is quick, the teriyaki is tasty, and it's run by the cutest little ladies who truly treat every customer like family. It's good food done right. They're quite busy during lunch, rightfully so, but always worth it. Really yummy!
